What will Logical Desktop become?
Currently Logical Desktop relies on external programs for web
browsing, HTML rendering and ftp browsing. However, as time goes by I
intend to make the following changes:
- Integrated web browsing (http). Advantages: you will be able to
bookmark http locations; you will see http locations in the recent
list, therefore enabling recent-based navigation; you will be able to
enter HTML files with the "door" icon.
- Integrated ftp browsing.
- Integration into KDE as a kicker applet: you will see the "recent"
and "important" buttons on the kicker. Advantages: you spare one click
to bring Logical Desktop into focus.
- Maybe integration into Gnome as a gnome-panel applet. Advantages:
see above.
